Wen Yang graduated from Shanghai Theatre Academy. She is currently actress at Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre. She has played in many theatre productions including "The Red and the Black", "The Gadfly", "Les Mains Sales", "Street Angel", etc. In 2007, she played in "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" in New York Off-Broadway. Between 1990 to 1999, she studied and performed in many Chinese opera productions. She has been awarded Best Actress by China's Zuolin Drama Award, and Best Actress Nomination by China's Magnolia Drama Award.
